Food Distribution for Returnees and IDPs

The Food Distribution project aims to provide essential food assistance to returnees and internally displaced persons (IDPs) in the Bamyan Center and Punjab District. Funded by SFCG, this initiative is designed to address the immediate nutritional needs of vulnerable populations affected by conflict and displacement.

The project will distribute food packages that include staple items such as wheat flour, cooking oil, pulses, and salt, ensuring that families have access to nutritious food during their transition back to stability. The targeted beneficiaries will include families who have recently returned to their homes and those who have been displaced due to ongoing challenges in the region.

By providing essential food supplies, this initiative seeks to alleviate hunger, improve food security, and support the reintegration of returnees and IDPs into their communities. The project reflects a commitment to fostering resilience and stability in the Bamyan region, ultimately contributing to the broader goal of peacebuilding and community cohesion.
